Advancing Accessibility: SSCP Partners with FreePsy Project

The SSCP Low-Cost Clinic is pleased to announce its affiliation with FreePsy, a research project based at the University of Essex that focuses on the history and contemporary practice of free clinics. This partnership is a natural fit for SSCP, given our commitment to offering psychoanalysis to communities that have historically been underrepresented or unsupported within psychoanalytic settings.

We hope this affiliation will further strengthen this foundational aspect of our work. In September, members of the SSCP team participated in a FreePsy workshop, which offered an invaluable platform for exchanging ideas and fostering collaboration.

We are excited to build on this partnership and explore new opportunities to expand the accessibility and reach of psychoanalytic care. Further updates on this promising collaboration will be shared in due course.
